Islamabad weather: Light rainfall expected in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The residents of the federal capital have been enjoying pleasant weather with isolated thundershowers across the region and light yer cool winds blowing, providing relief in July, typically known for its scorching heat levels.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northeast Balochistan.

Heavy falls (at times very heavy) are also likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab, and Kashmir during the period.
