Islamabad weather: Light to moderate rainfall expected in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The residents of the Federal capital are set to witness partly cloudy weather with light to heavy rainfall during the night, whereas warm weather conditions persisted from the morning.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 33 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 26 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 70% to 75% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at a speed of 6 km/h. Whereas the chance of precipitation is up to 10% today.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are expected to continue experiencing hot and humid conditions. However, rain is likely in several cities, including Dir, Swat, Haripur, and Abbottabad.

In Punjab, most areas will remain hot and humid, but rain is expected in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lahore, and other parts of the province. Strong winds and dust storms are likely in Multan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, and surrounding regions.
