Islamabad weather: New rain spell to enter next week in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The residents of the Federal capital are set to witness partly cloudy weather accompanied by a chilly breeze from the morning, bringing a significant temperature drop.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 23 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 10 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 45 to 50% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 06 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 1% today.

According to the Met Office, A new spell of rain is expected to hit parts of Punjab, Islamabad, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from next week.

The weather system is predicted to arrive on March 10 and will likely bring two to three spells of rain between March 11 and 21, with periodic gaps in between. Lahore can expect rain from March 9 to 11, with chances of snowfall, hailstorm, and high winds during this period.
