Islamabad weather update: Temperatures set to drop at night

ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed chilly winds in night after which the with bright sunlight appeared in the morning. However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by gusty winds during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 17 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 07 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 20 to 28% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 11 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 1% today.

According to the Met Office, The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country on Thursday, while it is expected to be extremely cold in the mountainous areas.
