Karachi weather forecast: Citizens brace for hot weather as rain chance fade

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast for Karachi, predicting partly cloudy weather on Friday with temperatures likely to reach 31°C.

Starting tomorrow, the city can expect a surge in temperatures by 1-2°C due to increased sunshine in the next 10 days, making the heat wave even more intense.

Karachi will experience partly cloudy and humid conditions on Friday, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to 31°C. The humidity in the city varies up to 68% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  29 km/h.

The meteorological department has also reported that south-westerly winds from the sea will continue to blow in the coming days, bringing no relief from the heat.

Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
