KARACHI: Citizens of Karachi witnessed heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms whereas the temperatures range between 30°C to 32 degrees Celcius during the day. Whereas the minimum temperatures anticipated at night range up to 27 degrees Celsius.
According to the Met Office, civilians of Karachi will face heavy rain with strong winds, gusts of wind, and thunders during the night. The chances of precipitation are only 82%.
Humidity levels remained moderate, ranging from 70% to 75%, with light southwest winds blowing at speeds of 24 to 26 km/h. Air quality is expected to remain within satisfactory levels, providing relief from recent pollution concerns.
Other areas, including Shahrah-e-Faisal, Keamari, and University Road, experienced significant rainfall, leading to water accumulation on roads and transportation challenges.
The heavy rains have also caused power outages, plunging various parts of the city into darkness.
According to PMD, citizens of Karachi will see heavy rain with strong winds, gusts of wind, and thunder in Hyderabad, Dadu, Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, Tando Mohammad Khan, Tharparkar, Nagarparkar, Islamkot, Mithi, Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Matiari, Sanghar, Sukkur, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Khairpur, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Nowshehro Firoz, with stormy and heavy rain expected in some areas
