KARACHI: Karachi is experiencing a heatwave with temperatures expected to soar up to 39°C and 49% humidity due to suspended sea breezes and prevailing hot, dry weather. For the next four to five days, temperatures will likely remain above normal by up to two degrees, according to the Met Office.
Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 34°C to 26°C. However, the city will witness more sunshine, leading to a rise in temperatures. The humidity in the city varies up to 62% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 13 km/h.
According to the PMD’s latest weather forecast, most parts of the country will remain dry with no potential sign of rainfall ahead. The current chances of precipitation are up to 2% only.
