ISLAMABAD: As the month of Ramadan approaches towards its end, the weather has taken a pleasant turn, and the Meteorological Department has predicted rains during the days of Eid.
The continuous rain since Sehri time in the federal capital Islamabad, Rawalpindi and its surroundings has made the weather more pleasant, while a slight wave of cold has also returned due to cold winds.
Rain and cold winds have made the weather cold in the tourist destinations of Murree and Galiyat, while snowfall is also continuing in the upper areas.
Snowfall in Astur, Hunza, Khunjerab Pass and Neelum Valley has increased the intensity of the cold.
On the other hand, intermittent rain is also continuing in the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the weather in Sindh and Balochistan is expected to remain cloudy and rain is expected at some places.
According to the Meteorological Department, the current series of intermittent rains may continue until Eid, which is expected to make the weather pleasant during the Eid days.
