The Met Office said the prevailing dry spell is causing a decrease in visibility, especially over northeastern and southern Punjab, including Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Layyah, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, and adjacent districts.

Similar weather conditions are also forecast for the KP regions of Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Dera Ismail Khan, and their adjacent areas. In upper Sindh, reduced visibility is also expected in cities like Sukkur and Rohri.

The Met Office added that this smog and fog will be most intense during early morning hours, thus warning the residents to practice caution while traveling.
