Westerly winds bring rain to Punjab & Northern Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Rains are likely to occur in the country tomorrow due to the entry of westerly winds into the country.

Due to the entry of a rain-bearing system from the west into Pakistan, rain has been predicted in the upper areas of Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Department, fog and cold are likely to persist in the plains, and rain is expected in the western areas of Pakistan.

Rain is also expected in Murree and Galiyat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any unusual or historic cold wave in the country from January 16 to 25.

DG Met Irfan Virk said that westerly winds will enter Pakistan next week, and smog and fog will decrease only after rain.
