4.3 magnitude earthquake in Iran

TEHRAN: A strong earthquake was felt in the southern city of Gerash in Iran, causing panic and fear among the citizens.
According to initial reports, the earthquake was of medium intensity, but fortunately, no casualties or property damage were reported.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was about 10 kilometers below the surface of the earth, due to which the tremors were also felt in nearby areas. Citizens came out of their homes and offices in large numbers and headed to open areas.

Local authorities say that relief agencies have been put on high alert and various areas are being surveyed to get timely information about any possible damage. According to initial surveys, no significant damage was caused to the buildings and the situation is under control.

According to geologists, such earthquakes are usually temporary in nature, but citizens should take precautionary measures.

He directed the public to stay in safe places and follow government instructions in case of any emergency.

Normal life is gradually returning to normal in the area after the earthquake, while authorities are continuously monitoring the situation.
