Fleet Sent to Iran, ‘Hopefully Won’t Have to Use It’: Trump

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has said that the US Navy has been sent to Iran, but it would be better not to use it.

Speaking to reporters, President Trump said that at this time, many of our large and powerful ships are heading towards Iran; hopefully, there will be no need for military action against Iran.

Trump said that he intends to have further talks with Iran, and the talks have been held with them before and will continue in the future.

The US President described doing business with China as very dangerous for the UK and said that trade cooperation with China could pose a serious threat to the UK.

President Trump said that doing business with China is even more dangerous for Canada, and he stressed that allies must be careful about increasing trade relations with China.

Talking about Cuba, Trump said that he believes that the Cuban government will not be able to survive.

Iran Response

The Iranian militaryhas made it clear that any new attack will be met with a swift and decisive response.

According to Iranian state media, the military spokesman said that military plans and orders have already been issued to deal with a possible attack.

The spokesman made it clear that if the enemy commits another foolish act, Iran will respond immediately.

He said that US military bases and aircraft carriers in the region could be our targets; these bases are within the range of our medium-range missiles, and all necessary planning has been completed in this regard.

The Iranian military leadership says that defending the country and effectively responding to any aggression is Iran’s top priority.
