FLORIDA: Former US President Donald Trump was the target of a suspected assassination attempt on Sunday, but fortunately, he escaped unharmed. The incident occurred at a golf resort in Florida, where a gunman was intercepted by the Secret Service.

The FBI has launched an investigation into the alleged attempt on Trump’s life.

In a statement on his website, Trump reassured his supporters, “FEAR NOT! I am safe and well, and no one was hurt.

Thank God!” He also expressed his determination to continue fighting for his goals, saying, “But, there are people in this world who will do whatever it takes to stop us. I will not stop fighting for you. I will Never Surrender.”

The suspect, who was armed with an AK-47-style rifle, was taken into custody by law enforcement agencies. This incident comes just two months after Trump was injured in a previous attack during a rally on July 13.
