Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani killed: claims Israel

TEHRAN: On Tuesday, Israel Katz, Israel’s Minister of Defence, announced that Iranian National Security chief Ali Larijani had died during an overnight attack.

Katz reports that he learned about the death of the Iranian security official shortly after Israeli forces attacked Iranian targets, although Iranian sources have not yet confirmed his death.

Katz announced through a video that the Chief of the General Staff informed him about the deaths of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and Gholamreza Soleimani, head of the Basij Organization, during Monday evening’s strikes.
