Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue, dozens of deaths due to brutal bombing

BEIRUT: Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon are still ongoing and several people have died as a result of fresh attacks in different areas, which is further worsening the humanitarian crisis in the region.

According to the Lebanese official news agency, 6 people were killed in an Israeli attack in the town of Ma’roub in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon. Similarly, 5 people were reported to have been killed in an attack in the southern town of Qana.

According to reports, Israeli airstrikes also spread to other areas, including Al-Bazouriya, Qalila, Bafliyyah and Qalwayyyah, where several attacks were carried out.

According to Lebanese sources, at least 13 people were killed in an attack on the town of Tafta last night. In addition, reports of Israeli airstrikes in other areas of southern Lebanon such as Kufra, Haris, Rashaf and Srebein have also been received.

Analysts say that the security situation in Lebanon remains tense due to continuous attacks, while the civilian population is facing serious threats and there are fears that the death toll will increase further.
