BEJIENG: A gym in northern China has gone viral for offering a Porsche Panamera to anyone who can lose 50 kilograms in just three months.

This Binzhou-based gym, from Shandong province, asks Participants to pay 10,000 yuan, about Rs. 4 Lac as a registration fee, which will cover meals and shared accommodation through the duration of the program.

However, the gym has not disclosed details about what training routines are, dietary plans, or what exactly the rules for measuring success are.

A coach surnamed Wang confirmed to Xiang Yang Video that the contest is genuine and already underway. “The challenge is real, and we’ll close registrations once 30 people sign up,” Wang said. “So far, about seven or eight have joined.”

Wang also clarified that the Porsche being offered as a reward is a used 2020 Panamera owned by the gym’s founder, not a brand-new model. A new Panamera in China costs roughly 1.1 million yuan (Rs. 43.45 million).

The Porsche Panamera is a high-end luxury sports sedan known for its blend of performance and comfort. In Pakistan, used models are priced between Rs. 7 crore and Rs. 16.8 crore, depending on the variant and condition.

Powered by engines ranging from 2.9L to 4.0L, the Panamera delivers up to 680 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under four seconds.

Sleekly designed, with high-end leather and state-of-the-art safety technology, it has remained one of the most popular Porsche models.
