Man claims his wife turns into snake at night

NEW DEHLI: A strange case has been reported in India’s Uttar Pradesh, where a man named Meraj has accused his wife of turning into a snake at night.

According to Meraj, his wife’s behavior has recently become frightening. He claims she hisses and tries to bite him, saying the incidents have happened several times. Terrified by her actions, he filed a formal complaint, asking for protection.

Meraj submitted his complaint to the district magistrate during a public grievance hearing, prompting officials to order a detailed investigation into the matter. Police have confirmed that an inquiry is underway.

Meanwhile, the woman has strongly rejected the claims, accusing Meraj of harassing her over dowry and trying to marry another woman.
