KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s Defense Ministry said several US planes crashed this morning.

A statement issued on social media by a spokesman for the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry confirmed that several US military planes had crashed, but did not give the reasons for the crash.

He confirmed that all crew members were completely safe and that relevant authorities had immediately launched search and rescue operations. The crew members were safely evacuated and transferred to the hospital so that their health could be checked and necessary medical facilities could be provided.

Earlier, Russian media reported that a US F-15 fighter jet had crashed in Kuwait, and the pilot of the plane was able to eject.

In a viral video on social media, flames were also seen coming out of the F-15 as it crashed.

Russian media said that the pilot of the F-15 fighter jet was taken to the hospital in an injured condition.

It should be remembered that after the US and Israel attacked Iran on Saturday, Iran targeted US bases in various Gulf countries, including Kuwait.

In its statement, the Iranian military said that the US military base in Kuwait had been completely disabled.
