ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Muhammad Moin Wattoo met with Qatari Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Mubarak Ali Isa Al-Khater today.
During his conversation, Minister Wattoo condemned the recent Israeli attack on Qatar and expressed heartfelt condolences as well as best wishes for the security and well-being of Qatar from the government and people of Pakistan. He reiterated that the Pakistani people share a deep bond of love and respect for their Qatari counterparts.
Wattoo also welcomed the recent move by several European countries to formally recognize Palestine and termed it a step towards justice and peace in the region.
He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to support its Muslim allies and highlighted the country’s ongoing efforts to promote unity within the Muslim world.
On the subject of Pakistan’s skilled workforce, the Qatari Ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s continued assistance and expressed interest in increasing this number in the near future, emphasizing Qatar’s growing demand for skilled workers from Pakistan. He also acknowledged Pakistan’s abundant natural resources and reiterated Qatar’s strong support for Pakistan in any future challenges.
Minister Wattoo added that Pakistan’s political and military leadership demonstrated its strength during the recent conflict with India.
The meeting concluded with both sides emphasizing the mutual commitment to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in various fields.
