Russian General killed in Moscow car blast

MOSCOW: A Russian general was killed in a car explosion in the Russian capital Moscow.

According to Russian media reports, the Russian general was in the car at the time of the explosion when an explosive device installed in the car suddenly exploded.

Russian authorities suspect that the explosion may have been caused by Ukrainian forces, but the investigation is ongoing and authorities have immediately started collecting evidence related to the incident.

According to the media, the killed general was the head of the army’s training department. He suffered serious injuries to his leg and face as a result of the explosion, after which he died in hospital.

Reports have said that seven other vehicles nearby were also affected by the explosion, and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the scene and started an investigation.
