RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that all visa holders will be allowed to perform Umrah.

According to Saudi authorities, anyone legally present in Saudi Arabia can perform Umrah.

This decision was made to increase facilities for the guests of Allah Almighty.

People holding tourist visas and transit visas will also be eligible to perform Umrah.

Authorities have urged people to use the online platform Nasik Umrah to select an Umrah package and issue permits.

The Federal Government has announced the official list of Umrah companies to protect pilgrims from scammers.

113 Umrah operators were listed, which are allowed to take pilgrims on Umrah to Saudi Arabia for the Islamic year 1447 Hijri.

The list is available on the ministry’s official website, where pilgrims can verify company details before making bookings.

Officials stated that the step aims to mitigate the risk of exploitation by unauthorized agents and offer pilgrims trusted options.

Before making any trip plans, the ministry has recommended Umrah pilgrims to thoroughly check operators via its website.

A spokesperson emphasized that the certified company’s bank account should receive all payments. Pilgrims must also make sure that the company sends them a copy of the agreement and a payment receipt.
