RIYADH: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has declared a public holiday on September 23rd to mark its 95th National Day. According to Arab media, Saudi Arabia will celebrate its 95th National Day with great national enthusiasm on September 23rd.

On this occasion, a public holiday has been declared for citizens and expatriates across the kingdom. This day commemorates the historic decree of the founder of the kingdom, King Abdulaziz, in 1932, under which a state called Saudi Arabia was established by uniting Nejd and Hejaz.

National Day was first celebrated in 1965 during the reign of King Faisal and was given the status of a permanent public holiday after a royal decree by King Abdullah in 2005.

This year, National Day has been named “Our Pride is in Our Nature,” which highlights the cultural traditions and natural heritage of the Saudi people.

According to the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), this theme highlights the qualities of Saudis such as hospitality, courage, dignity, generosity, and high morale.
