Saudi Royal Prince Nawaf bin Nayef passes away

RIYADH: Prince Nawaf bin Nayef bin Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a respected member of the Saudi royal family, has passed away, according to the Saudi Royal Court and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

According to an official statement issued by the Royal Court, the funeral prayer of Prince Nawaf bin Nayef will be held today (Tuesday), May 26, in Riyadh after the Asr prayer at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque, in which a large number of members of the royal family, high-ranking officials, and citizens are expected to participate.

The statement further said that the burial of the late prince will also be held with official honors. Condolences are being sent in different parts of Saudi Arabia on the death of this respected member of the royal family.

Prince Nawaf bin Nayef belonged to an important and prominent branch of the Saudi royal family, he was known for his family prestige and social services. His death is being described as a great loss for both the royal family and the public.

Regret and condolences are also being expressed on social media and in various circles over his death, with many personalities paying tribute to the services of the deceased and praying for his elevation to the ranks.

A condolence atmosphere is ongoing at the official level in Saudi Arabia, while the royal family has appealed to the public to pray for the deceased.
