WASHINGTON: US State Department spokesperson Timmy Bruce said that there is strong hope that President Trump will be able to resolve the Kashmir issue during his term.

While holding a press conference in Washington, Timmy Bruce said that do not be surprised if President Trump resolves an issue. The world knows him. He is the only person who can bring the parties to the negotiating table.

While answering questions from journalists at the press briefing, Timmy Bruce said that President Trump is playing an active role in establishing peace at the international level and is keen to resolve various disputes through negotiations.

She said that recently Under Secretary Alice Hooker met with a Pakistani diplomatic delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto, in which support for the ceasefire between Pakistan and India was reiterated.

The spokesperson said that thankfully, there has been a ceasefire between Pakistan and India, and we hope that this stability will continue in the future.

Cooperation against terrorism, bilateral relations, and regional security were also discussed in the meeting with the Pakistani delegation, she added.

She admitted that the recent violent protests by illegal immigrants in the United States have led President Trump to further strengthen border security.

She said that clearing American roads of criminals and illegal immigrants is our top priority.

Timmy Bruce clarified that while talking about Palestine, the spokesperson said that sanctions are being imposed on five aid agencies based on their support for Hamas.

President Trump has asked for suggestions on the situation in Gaza because Hamas is neither releasing the hostages nor laying down its arms. On the question of Iran, she said that progress is being made in the negotiations, while the United States is also playing its role in ending the Ukraine-Russia war.

Timmy Bruce also thanked Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio for their roles and said that this is an interesting time, if we reach a conclusion in a specific conflict.
