Two public holidays announced on UAE 54th National Day

DUBAI: The UAE government has declared two public holidays on the occasion of the UAE’s 54th National Day. Public holidays have been declared on December 1 and 2, meaning Monday and Tuesday are off.

Since Saturday and Sunday are already weekends in the United Arab Emirates, citizens will have a total of four consecutive days off.

According to Arab media, National Day is celebrated in the UAE with great enthusiasm; this year, special preparations for the celebrations have also been completed across the country.

Federal ministries and government offices in the UAE will be completely shut for four days, while the Ministry of Education also declared the closure of public and private schools.
