DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has arrested several individuals for spreading fake news on various social media platforms and glorifying Iran’s recent attack on the UAE.
According to the details posted on an X (formerly known as Twitter), the UAE government has arrested a total of 25 people belonging to different ethnicities and countries across the world.
The arrested people include 17 Indians, 2 Pakistanis, 2 Filipinas, 2 Nepalese, 1 Egyptian, and 1 from Bangladesh, according to the reports.
