How to Apply for Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Program has become a key question for many young people after the Government of Punjab launched a new internship initiative.

The program was announced by Maryam Nawaz. The aim is to involve youth in environmental protection and climate awareness across the province.

Under the program, selected interns will receive Rs60,000 per month. The internship will continue for three months and participants will also receive an official certificate after completing the program.

The Punjab government has also reserved 50 percent seats for female students. The selection process will be based on merit, and youth from different districts of Punjab will get representation.

Through this initiative, interns will get practical exposure to environmental work. They will have the opportunity to work with officers of the Punjab Environmental Protection Agency and the environmental policy unit.

Participants will also learn through a modern learning management system and may receive certification supported by UNESCO.

Officials say the program will help train young leaders who can contribute to environmental improvement in Punjab.

How to Apply

Young applicants can submit their applications online.

They need to visit the official portal: epd.punjab.gov.pk/climateinternship

The last date to apply for the internship program is March 29.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that youth participation in environmental improvement is important. She added that every young person can play a positive role through the climate leadership program.

She also stated that due to continuous efforts, the level of environmental pollution in Punjab, especially in Lahore, has started to decline.
