UK issues travel warning for Afghanistan over security risks

LONDON: The British government has issued a travel alert for Afghanistan after the Afghan Taliban-sponsored terrorism.

The British Foreign Office has warned British citizens of the worsening security situation in Afghanistan.

The British Foreign Office has said that British citizens may face arrest and long imprisonment in Afghanistan, and British citizens traveling to Afghanistan must assess the possible risks.

According to Afghan media, Britain has asked its citizens not to travel to Afghanistan due to security concerns. The British Foreign Office’s instructions have identified an increase in violent incidents and risks.

In this regard, Afghan media has said that Britain has described travel as extremely dangerous due to the closure of several border crossings.
