TEHRAN: According to media reports, the report said that between February 28 and April 8, 278 primary and secondary school students and 67 teachers were killed. Another 196 students and 26 teachers were injured.
The attacks are part of a joint US-Israeli offensive that began on February 28, which has been widely condemned internationally.
Government spokeswoman Fatima Mohajrani told Iranian media that the attacks damaged 942 schools, 18 of which were completely destroyed.
She also said that a total of 125,640 civilian units have been damaged, including 100,000 homes, 20,500 commercial properties and 339 health centers. More than 3,300 people have been killed and millions have been displaced in the war.
