Lahore Qalandars set to compete again in Global Super League

LAHORE: The defending champions of the Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars, will once again be in action in the Global Super League to be played in Guyana.

According to a spokesperson for Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions of the Pakistan Super League have once again become part of the Global Super League and the Lahore Qalandars team will participate in the league to be held at the Guyana National Stadium from July 23 to August 1, 2026 this year.

The Lahore Qalandars team has also been part of the inaugural edition of the tournament before.

Lahore Qalandars owner Samin Rana says that he is very happy to return to the Global Super League, he is proud to represent Pakistan, it has been a wonderful platform for us, this tournament gives us an opportunity to showcase our talent, culture and purpose to the world.

Global Super League Chairman Clive Lloyd said, “We welcome Lahore Qalandars back to the Global Super League. Lahore Qalandars is one of the most successful franchises in international T20 cricket. The team’s inclusion will significantly enhance the quality and prestige of the tournament.”
