Nationwide gas and electricity load shedding sparks public anger in Pakistan

LAHORE: Due to the worst load shedding of gas and electricity across Pakistan, the people have faced severe difficulties and anger among the citizens is increasing rapidly. Domestic life has been badly affected while business activities have also been paralyzed.

Citizens say that the prolonged and unannounced load shedding has disrupted the routine of life. It has become difficult to meet basic needs in homes while small businesses have come close to closure, which is further increasing economic problems.

According to public and social circles, the current situation has become unbearable, due to which the people have become protesting and severe reactions are coming out in different areas. Citizens say that despite repeated claims by the government, the energy crisis could not be controlled.

They have strongly demanded from the government to take immediate and effective measures to control the load shedding of gas and electricity and provide immediate relief to the people.
