US urges citizens to leave Iraq as nationwide blackout hits

BAGHDAD: Power outages in Iraq and Cuba have caused a blackout across the country, causing panic among citizens.

According to foreign media, the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity has said that power grids in all provinces of the country have been completely shut down, and the entire country has been deprived of electricity.

According to the ministry, no cause for the power outage has been identified yet, but an investigation has been launched, while restoration work is underway rapidly after the power outage across the country, but it may take some time.

On the other hand, the sudden power outage in the entire country due to the war situation in the Middle East has caused great fear among the Iraqi people and many rumors have started circulating.

On the other hand, the US Embassy in Baghdad has instructed all US citizens in Iraq to leave Iraq as soon as possible and take refuge in a safe place until they can leave Iraq.
