LAHORE: In a significant expansion in both traditional and electric bikes, Honda Atlas has officially rolled out a much-anticipated model of the Honda CG150 and the company’s first electric scooter, ICON e.
The new two-wheeler model of CG150 is now available in the local market with a price tag of Rs459,900.
According to the company, the bike features a 4-stroke SOHC engine and supports both kick-start and self-start functionality. The launch comes after the motorcycle was spotted on the roads in recent weeks.
In addition to that, Honda Atlas introduced the ICON e, its first electric scooter tailored for the Pakistani market, with a price tag of Rs419,900.
It shows Honda’s entry into the evolving EV segment in line with Pakistan’s National Electric Vehicle Policy (NEVP).
Last month, Atlas Honda confirmed its intention to launch electric scooters designed specifically for local conditions.
In a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company stated that it was working closely with concerned regulatory bodies to ensure smooth rollout, with road testing and quality checks already in progress. Honda’s initiative is likely to transition about 26 million motorcycles to an electric system.
