New School hours announced across Punjab

LAHORE: All the educational institutions across Punjab will reopen on August 15, 2025, marking the end of the Summer holidays in the province.

According to prior notification about the school’s timing in the Punjab, the single shift school will open at 07 30 AM in the morning and will be closed at 1:00 pm. On Friday, the schools will be closed at 11:30 AM.

Moreover, the Double Shift School’s Morning timing remains the same, but the evening time shift will start at 02 PM, and schools will be closed at 06 PM. On Friday, the institute will open at 02:30 PM and will be closed at 05:30 PM

Schools’ Timing in Punjab

Single-Shift Schools Timing:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 1:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am – 11:30 am

Double-Shift Schools Timing:

Morning Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 1:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am – 11:30 am

Evening Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Friday: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm

However, Unconfirmed reports about the extension of Summer holidays have spread the uncertainty about the school opening in Punjab among students and parents.

The Government of Punjab and other related departments are yet to share any update about the extension of the holidays.
