KARACHI: The BYD Atto 2 has launched its services in Pakistan. The vehicle provides city drivers with an affordable electric vehicle that qualifies as a premium subcompact EV.
The electric compact SUV BYD ATTO 2 serves as the family SUV for BYD Europe. The BYD Atto 3 functions as a smaller version of the system, which combines intelligent technological systems with contemporary aesthetics and sustainable environmental capabilities.
The vehicle presents a strong challenge to B-segment gasoline SUVs, which dominate the Pakistani market because of their PKR 7,290,000 ex-showroom price. Customers can book the BYD Atto 2 at authorized dealers nationwide. A booking amount of PKR 1,400,000 secures a reservation.
The Atto 2 operates on BYD’s advanced e-Platform 3.0 system, which includes a 45.12 kWh Blade Battery that produces a 323 km (WLTP) driving range. The system includes front-wheel drive, which delivers 174 horsepower and 290 Nm torque and enables fast battery charging, which takes 40 to 43 minutes to reach 80 percent from 20 percent.
The EV interior features a smart 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen display together with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and climate control, which uses a CN95 filtration system and a driver seat with six-way power adjustment.
The vehicle contains five airbags together with a 360-degree camera system and TSR and EBD systems, which provide safe operation in urban environments. The vehicle’s compact size allows drivers to handle parking and driving situations without difficulty, measuring 4310 millimeters in length, 1830 millimeters in width, and 1675 millimeters in height.
The Independent reports that BYD Atto 2 will launch its new all-electric urban SUV in September 2023. The BYD Atto 2 functions as an ideal choice for Pakistani city commuters because it combines premium features with excellent range performance, modern technologies, and an affordable price.
The launch improves BYD’s position in the Pakistan compact electric vehicle market while establishing a new standard for electric vehicles used in urban environments.
