ISLAMABAD: Whereas major automobile manufacturers like Pak Suzuki and Kia have increased the prices of cars after introducing new taxes in the Federal Budget 2025–26, Sazgar Engineering has adopted a different strategy.

In an official statement, the company informed that it will bear the burden of the newly introduced New Energy Vehicles (NEV) Adoption Levy. Accordingly, the prices of Haval vehicles will not be increased.

This move is made at a time when Pak Suzuki Motor Company and Kia Lucky Motors hiked prices, attributing it to the hike in the rate of sales tax and extra levies included in the new fiscal policy.

Suzuki vehicles such as the Alto, Cultus, and Swift registered some significant price increases, while Kia hiked rates in most of its popular models, including Sportage and Picanto.

Sazgar, however, highlighted its dedication to customer well-being through price stability. “As a customer-oriented and responsible organization, Sazgar has always taken forward-looking steps to safeguard the interests of our precious Haval family,” the company reported.
