Honda CG125 to get real changes in 2025?

ISLAMABAD: The Honda CG125 has seen a significant increase in its sales as it has attracted the attention of buyers who were switching from Suzuki or Yamaha self-start bikes due to their uncomplicated ignition system.

The Honda CG125 is known for its durability, speed, and fuel efficiency overall. The bike is generally used for commuting and is loved by the riders for its strong performance.

Over the years, Honda has made a few updates to its most loved model, CG125, but it wasn’t a major revamp but just minor sticker changes rather than actual innovation.

Atlas Honda, the manufacturing and marketing company of HONDA in Pakistan, launched Euro 2 technology motorbikes in 2013.

Since then the company introduced some changes including the launch of the self-start variant in 2019. In 2022, Honda introduced some new engine technology which wasn’t taken as an innovative or game-changing step for buyers.

The company in 2023 decided to paint the bike and add some new stickering, labeling the new model as Golden CG125 which also lacked a true innovation.

Honda CG125 2025 expectations

Considering the previous records, buyers are not expecting much from Honda as the company failed to improve the bike’s core performance in its newly introduced 2025 models of Honda CD70 and Honda CD70 Dream.

Atlas Honda can give customers another color option for the silencer, a new decal or sticker, or perhaps another improved engine feature that’s more about meeting regulatory standards than offering anything handy to riders.

With Honda’s focus on minor tweaks that don’t impact performance, it’s safe to say that the 2025 CG125 will be more of the same, with no substantial improvements on the horizon.
