LAHORE: Honda Atlas Cars Limited is set to shake up the crossover SUV market in Pakistan with the arrival of its first locally available hybrid SUV, the Honda HR-V Hybrid. While the auto giant is tight-lipped about the official launch date, test drives across the country will begin tomorrow, July 14, at all 3S dealerships across the country.

The much-anticipated launch of the Honda HR-V is just a few days away, and the auto community is already stun- ning the automotive circles after a massive price leak.

Insiders claim that the HR-V Hybrid will be priced around 90Lac, but Honda is yet to confirm the figure, but the speculations alone have created a stir on social media.

Adding fuel to the fire, several HR-V Hybrid units have been spotted en route to dealerships, with pictures and videos of them circulating online. Clearly, the countdown has begun, and Honda is pulling out all the stops to make this one of its biggest launches in recent years.

This bold move is part of Honda’s broader strategy to meet the growing demand for fuel-efficient, environmentally-friendly vehicles in Pakistan – and the HR-V Hybrid is perfectly positioned to make that shift. Globally, it has already been praised for its impressive hybrid performance, sleek design, and everyday practicality.

Now, with test drives just hours away, buyers are eagerly awaiting the full reveal: specs, features, and – most importantly – official pricing. Will it live up to the hype? Can it dominate Pakistan’s growing hybrid market?

The Honda HR-V is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid engine that produces 96kW of power and 253Nm of torque, mated to an electronic CVT transmission. This front-wheel drive model delivers impressive fuel economy. The vehicle offers a comfortable and practical interior with Honda’s Magic Seats, which provide flexible cargo solutions. Inside, the HR-V seats four occupants and offers over 300 litres of boot space.
