MG Pakistan announces price of U9 pickup truck

KARACHI: MG has officially announced the price of the MG U9 in Pakistan after the model’s debut at the Pakistan Auto Show 2025 last month. Earlier, the company had opened bookings for the vehicle at Rs. 8 million.

According to a circular sent to dealerships, the 2.5L turbo diesel pickup, the MG U9, will be available in two variants. Prices start at Rs. 22,749,000 for the Explore Pro (Standard) variant and go up to Rs. 23,949,000 for the Explore Pro + Smart Hatch Option variant, ex-factory.

MG also mentions that both variants require a non-refundable booking amount of Rs. 8,000,000, while the remaining balance is to be paid 30 days ahead of the confirmed delivery date. Additionally, the freight charges are payable separately. It is indicated that the deliveries are expected within 90-100 days of booking.

The MG U9 is a full-size pickup, equipped with a 2.5-liter turbodiesel; the engine puts out 215 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. It features an eight-speed automatic, four-wheel drive, and a locking rear differential.

The vehicle dimensions are 5,510 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width, and 1,880 mm in height, placing it in the same size bracket as popular international mid-size pickups.
