KARACHI: The reports state that MG Pakistan will launch two new vehicles in the upcoming market. The company has not made an official announcement yet.
However, the information shared by DrivePk suggests that the launches may happen soon. A video circulating on social media shows two vehicles covered under red sheets at an MG Capital showroom.
The new models that the company will present to the public are more likely to happen after this demonstration. However, MG Pakistan has not confirmed any details so far.
Which models is MG expected to launch? MG is planning to release two specific vehicle types according to available details, which include an electric sedan and a C-segment SUV.
The C-segment SUV will enter the market to compete against other vehicles, which make up one of the country’s most competitive vehicle categories. MG already has an important role in Pakistan’s SUV market.
It recently introduced the MG U9 pickup truck. Electric vehicles are slowly gaining attention in Pakistan because of rising fuel prices. As of present, most electric cars in the country are positioned in higher price ranges. This limits options for many consumers.
MG Pakistan has not revealed the model names, battery range, and charging details for the EV or the engine and features of the SUV. The company has not shared information about expected prices or launch dates.
The company provides all information about the two vehicles through reports and online leaks because MG has not yet released official news. Morris Garages MG Motor Pakistan has announced its new campaign named Start Smart This Year.
