Although the government has authorized the import of soybeans—a vital ingredient in the production of eggs—no formal announcement has been made as of yet. According to additional sources, this delay has contributed to the current inflationary cycle.
According to sources, the Ministry of Climate Change is primarily to blame for the notification delay that has led to regulatory inaction regarding imports of soybeans. Because they are the main component of chicken feed, soybeans are essential to the production of eggs.
They added that the delay in importing soybeans might cause more difficulties in maintaining egg production, worsening the current shortage.
