Ban on unauthorized transportation of wheat outside Balochistan for 2 months

QUATA:  A ban has been imposed on unauthorized transportation of wheat outside Balochistan for 2 months.

According to the provincial home department, Section 144 has been imposed to prevent unauthorized transportation and hoarding of wheat. Storing, hiding or keeping illegal stocks of wheat beyond the prescribed limit will be a crime.

The home department says that this step has been taken to maintain stability in the availability, purchase and market of wheat. Deputy Commissioners have been directed to establish joint check posts at border crossings.

The district administration has also been directed to search suspicious warehouses and examine transport documents. The Balochistan home department has also directed to seize illegal wheat and take action against those responsible.
