Bank Alfalah, JazzWorld, HBL, and Engro Polymer & Chemicals declared “Most Inclusive Companies” at Global DEI Benchmarks Awards.

KARACHI: The 9th Annual Global DEI Benchmarks Awards, organized by HR Metrics, were held on April 15 at Marriott Karachi, recognizing organizations for excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Bank Alfalah, JazzWorld, HBL, and Engro Polymer & Chemicals were named “Most Inclusive Companies of the Year,” while the Top 10 included HBL Microfinance Bank, Mobilink Microfinance Bank, Engro Fertilizers, Faysal Bank, Fatima Group, and ABACUS.

Speakers emphasized the need to move beyond compliance toward accountability and practical implementation of inclusion. Bank Alfalah President & CEO Atif Bajwa highlighted the “4Cs” strategy—Customers, Colleagues, Community, and Country—while HBL President & CEO Muhammad Nassir Salim underscored efforts to drive financial inclusion through digital banking. Other speakers shared progress in improving women’s representation, leadership, and financial access across sectors.

The awards were evaluated by an independent international jury. The GDEIB framework comprises 15 categories and 275 benchmarks, enabling organizations to systematically strengthen DEI practices.

Overall, companies winning awards in selective GDEIB categories included AGP Limited, Soneri Bank Limited, METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, Pakistan Tobacco Company, Fauji Foundation, National Bank of Pakistan, Jubilee Life Insurance, Engro Energy Limited, Yunus Textile Mills Limited, EngroVopak Terminal Limited, Allied Bank Limited, Martin Dow Group, Bayer Pakistan Private Limited, K-Electric Ltd, The Bank of Punjab, Gray Mackenzie International Restaurant Limited (KFC Pakistan), Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan Limited, Riphah International University, Faysal Funds, HRSG, Pakistan Kuwait Investment Company, BankIslami Pakistan Limited, CCL Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd, Jaffer Business Systems Pvt Ltd, Jaffer Brothers (Pvt) Limited, The Beaconhouse Group, Telenor Pakistan, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Liberty Mills Limited, Descon Engineering Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, MG Apparel, Raqami Islamic Digital Bank, and DVAGO Pharmacy & Wellness Experts.
