KARACHI: The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has issued an important alert for all beneficiaries.

According to BISP, “Deserving registered women must closely follow these newly released guidelines so that they can seamlessly get their much-needed financial assistance.

The registered women who haven’t received their dedicated BISP SIM cards need to do so,” she added. They must wait for 10-12 days after getting the SIM to attempt withdrawal of the financial aid.

Further, moving ahead, the stipends would go straight to their Digital Wallet account, and there won’t be rigid timings of the offices nor the need to queue up.

Once the funds are deposited into your Digital Wallet, we send you an automated SMS confirming that the transaction has been completed. This includes the exact amount that was deposited, cash withdrawal details, and our Bank charges.

Currently, the instalment of Rs 14,500 per quarter has been fixed by the government. Whereas the standard bank’s charges for processing are kept at Rs 280.

Since the money is being transferred safely to your individual account on a digital platform, you don’t have to run into cash centres.
