Budget EV market disrupted as JMEV EV3 launches in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: With affordable electric vehicles being introduced to the market across the country, Capital Smart Motors (CSM) has shaken up the budget EV segment by officially announcing the prices of the JMEV EV3.

According to PakWheels, the company has introduced two versions of the vehicle, with the JMEV EV3 Comfort priced at Rs 4,899,999 while the JMEV EV3 Premium priced at Rs 4,999,999.

The bookings for these vehicles, which are equipped with advanced features, will start from just Rs 490,000, which will be officially launched in April, while the lucky buyers will start receiving the delivery of these vehicles from July.

In view of the rising petrol prices in Pakistan, the arrival of this electric vehicle in the sub-5 million range is being touted as an excellent alternative for the middle class and those looking for an eco-friendly ride.
