Chicken price increases in Punjab, Pakistan; Check latest rates here

LAHORE: The price of chicken in Punjab has increased in the market by Rs. 15 per kilogram, which will be applicable from May 20, 2024.

According to the details, chicken meat is one of the most consumed meats in Pakistan. The demand for poultry remains high throughout the year, as it is widely used in all kinds of dishes. While now the official price of chicken meat saw an increase of Rs.15 per kg in the market.

As per the latest rates, broiler chicken is now officially priced at Rs. 463 per kg, with wholesale live chicken set at Rs. 307 and retail at Rs. 319.

Additionally, farm eggs are now priced at Rs. 262 per dozen. Furthermore, the official wholesale rate for egg patty has been set at Rs. 7740.

These fluctuations reflect the dynamic nature of the market, impacting both consumers and businesses alike.

Live Broiler (per kilogram) sold in retail: Rs. 307

These prices reflect the current market rates in Punjab poultry industry.
