Currency update: PSX gains 507 points as dollar drops

ISLAMABD: The Pakistan Stock Exchange continues to trend bullish, while the value of the US dollar has also decreased against the rupee.

The stock market started trading positively on the first day of the trading week, with the 100 index rising 507 points to reach 100,67,592 points.

The market also recorded a bullish trend on the last day of the last business week. On the last business day, 220 million, 56 million, 77 thousand 720 shares worth 28 billion, 45 million, 57 thousand 135 rupees were traded in the market.

On the other hand, the US dollar is in a continuous decline. According to the Exchange Companies Association, the price of the dollar has fallen by 2 paise in the interbank market to 280 rupees 40 paise.
