Fuel subsidy program launched, how to apply?

LAHORE: The government has introduced a fuel subsidy program under which motorcycle users will be provided financial assistance of up to Rs 2,000.

Under this scheme, motorcycle owners can apply online through government websites. According to officials, the aim of this program is to help low and middle-income people who are facing difficulties due to expensive fuel.

Punjab Applicants Can Register via Maryam Ki Zain App & Official Portal

Applicants in Punjab can also register through the Maryam Ko Zain mobile app and https://mkb.punjab.gov.pk/Account/login, which has made the process even easier.

Each province has introduced a separate portal for registration. Applicants have to check their eligibility by providing basic information and complete the registration.

Sindh, KP, Balochistan & GB Residents Can Apply Through Official Links

People from Sindh can apply by visiting the link https://fsp.excise.gos.pk/home/bike_subsidies.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can apply for fuel subsidy at this https://pfsp.admin.gok.pk/public/check-eligibility

Gilgit-Baltistan can apply for fuel subsidy at this link https://fsp.pmrugb.gov.pk/.

The authorities have directed the citizens to use only official platforms and avoid sharing their personal information on unverified links circulating on social media.

Experts say that this measure can provide temporary relief and will be helpful in reducing the burden on the low-income group.

The authorities have appealed to the eligible individuals to apply for this program as soon as possible so that they can benefit from this facility.
