FY 2022-23: Pakistan’s exports to US $5.29 bln, imports from China $14.51 bln

ISLAMABAD, Aug 23 (Rizwan Abbasi): During the fiscal year 2022-23, the United States remained largest importer to Pakistan importing products worth 5.29 billion dollars and during the said period China was observed a major exporter to Pakistan exporting products worth 14.51 billion dollars to the country.

According to the government balance for the fiscal year 2023.24. Pakistan’s trade balance with America is in Pakistan’s favour because during this period, Pakistan’s exports to America will increase and its imports will decrease, while Pakistan’s trade balance with China will decrease. –

Sources say that in the fiscal year Pakistan’s exports to the United States increased by 0.9 percent, while in the fiscal year 2023-24 Pakistan’s imports from China increased by 24 percent – according to the government fiscal year, Pakistan. After a 38% decrease in imports from the US in the fiscal year, Pakistan’s imports from the US stood at 1 billion 260 million dollars, while Pakistan’s exports to China in the fiscal year were 2 billion 50 million dollars.
