ISLAMABAD: After the continuous decline in crude oil prices globally, there is a possibility of further reduction in petroleum product prices in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister’s Advisor Rana Sanaullah had also indicated yesterday that petrol prices will further decrease.

According to reports, OGRA has prepared a summary regarding the new prices of petroleum products, in which a possible reduction of Rs 20 to 50 per liter is being considered; however, the final decision will be taken by the Prime Minister.

Last week, the prices of petroleum products were significantly reduced by up to Rs 74 per liter. It should be noted that the decline in crude oil prices in international markets continues.

Today, the price of London Brent crude oil decreased by another 2.08 percent, bringing the price per barrel to $ 73.77, while West Texas crude oil became cheaper by 2.05 percent today and the price per barrel has increased to $ 77.44.
